HaRav Sternbuch, shlita on the Coronavirus
R' Sternbuch advises following the advice of medical personnel but at the same time did not advocate for shul closings or yeshiva closings. The Rav is for the continuation of public prayer in small groups in homes while adhering to hygiene guidelines, unless the situation worsened to the point where this is not possible. It is on the onus of the Rabbi of his community to address his kehilah and inspire them toward teshuvah.
